Signing methods

Updated

At Verified we currently have four different Signing methods to sign the KYC. They are Bank ID Sweden, Bank ID Norway, FTN Finland and Touchsign. Below you will find information about how they work.

Bank ID Sweden

Bank ID Sweden is a digital signature method and is equivalent to showing your passport. BankID is available in three variants: Mobile BankID, BankID on card and BankID on file. The recipient signs on their mobile, tablet, or PC with BankID. A link to more info is here.

BankID Norway

BankID Norway is a digital identification that ensures signatures at the highest level of assurance (LoA). The recipient signs on their mobile, tablet, or PC with BankID. A link to more info is here.

Touchsign

TouchSign in Verified works by allowing users to electronically sign documents using a touch-based interface, such as a smartphone or tablet, often after identity verification. This process, which can involve SMS validation or other identity checks, ensures the authenticity and legal validity of the signed document.

FTN - Finnish Trust Network

The FTN signing method require setting up certificates, and will be enabled on demand. If you wish to make use of this feature simply leave a message to our support staff via email at support@verified.eu.

This method is also available via the API.

The functionality, when enabled, will be possible to chose as signing method and the signee is prompted to use his/her certificate and sign. The Finnish Trust Network does not have a single, dedicated home page in the traditional sense of a website. Instead FTN is a framework and a service that connects to various trusted identity providers.
