Verified

New feature: Signing and authenticating is now available for Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Authenticating with Belgium eID is also available

Updated

1. Is this relevant to me?

This feature is relevant to you if you have documents to sign with Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian or Belgian citizens.

2. What is it?

The Verified platform now includes additional eID methods, as part of Verified Secure, which means the following countries are also supported:

  • Estonia - signing and authentication for Estonian citizens
  • Latvia - signing and authentication for Latvian citizens
  • Lithuania - signing and authentication for Lithuanian citizens
  • Belgium - authentication for Belgian citizens

3. How does it work?

Firstly, the sender must create an envelope and pick the desired signing method. Optionally, an eID authentication level can also be enabled (in which case a SSN code must be entered). After adding the desired recipients, the documents can be sent to signing, as usual.

3.1 For signing and authentication

The recipients will be able to view and sign the documents by selecting one of their country's supported methods:

Country What users will choose from
Estonia 4ab49279-3b08-4785-a990-d5c976e42a77.png
Latvia 8db6f915-0bd4-4694-a9c9-24b017370c20.png
Lithuania d8bbd2cb-693c-467d-9946-2bf90cb1e1a7.png

3.2 For authentication only

For methods such as Belgium ID, which is available only for authentication, the process will look similar to the one described above, except that users will need to select another option for signing:
